Description

  • Lead the design and development of core platform features using Python and an API-first approach.
  • Build scalable and reliable backend services that support the company’s applications.
  • Implement front-end features and help manage the growing React and TypeScript codebase.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and deployment workflows in an AWS serverless environment.
  • Lead proof-of-concept projects and solve complex architectural and engineering challenges independently.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and streamline day-to-day development work.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Strong experience building backend services and APIs using Python in a product-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services, particularly in a serverless architecture.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code, observability tools, and cloud-native best practices.
  • Proficiency with relevant AI tools in the SDLC, such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot, and/or API integrations.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with strong ownership of the systems you build.
  • Collaborative, low-ego team player who thrives in cross-functional settings.
  • Creative and pragmatic problem solver with a mindset for building scalable, maintainable systems.
