Description

Own and deliver quarterly team goals while guiding engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle.
Identify project, process, technology, and business issues and lead efforts to resolve them.
Support the operations and availability of team systems through metrics, escalation, and on-call work.
Set and improve code review and design standards, and advocate for them through writing and tech talks.
Provide feedback, guidance, and leadership to help develop talent on the team.

Requirements

4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
Experience building highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
Experience owning and operating cloud-native distributed infrastructure in networking or compute.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes resource management, Helm charts, and operator patterns for networking workloads.
Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with simple, extensible designs.
Ability to make significant changes in a large codebase while using tools and practices that support safe development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global engineering team.
Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience taking ownership of personal growth and proactively seeking feedback from team members, managers, and stakeholders.
