Description

  • Build internal systems that visualize the end-to-end claimant journey and expose operational bottlenecks.
  • Develop the external claimant portal for real-time case status, evidence submission, and critical updates.
  • Create data warehouse pipelines and marketing integrations to support outbound communications and attribution tracking.
  • Build AI-assisted workflows that turn Slack-based change requests into pull requests for engineer review.
  • Respond to production issues and ad hoc support requests while improving system resilience and maintainability.
  • Lead migration and integration efforts onto the next-generation platform architecture with minimal or zero downtime.
  • Automate physical mail processing, government form workflows, and other operational processes.
  • Implement deep observability across systems to create a reliable single source of truth for data.
  • Partner closely with internal users, growth, and operations teams to gather feedback and translate needs into solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience owning projects end to end from idea to production and long-term success.
  • Strong product engineering mindset with frequent user collaboration and direct feedback loops.
  • Ability to build observable, measurable systems rather than relying on guesswork.
  • Bias toward shipping practical MVPs quickly and iterating after release.
  • Comfort working in a highly collaborative, high-availability environment with constant communication.
  • Ability to balance new feature development with ongoing support and refactoring work.
  • Experience applying strong computer science fundamentals and architectural judgment alongside AI tools.
  • Full-stack TypeScript experience with React, Next.js, Nx, Node.js, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, TypeORM, Redis, AWS, Terraform, and Docker.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Customer.io or Iterable, Webflow, paid ads platforms, Sentry, PostHog, Playwright, Python, or Databricks is preferred.
