Description

  • Build full-stack features across the activation funnel, including onboarding flows, in-app guidance, dashboards, and messaging.
  • Own backend services and APIs for analytics, user progress tracking, and onboarding personalization.
  • Build self-serve tools such as API explorers, data previews, and sandbox flows to improve integration rates.
  • Implement event tracking and instrumentation for activation metrics using analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with Product and Growth to define, measure, and optimize key funnel metrics.
  • Work with analysts to surface insights and user segments for targeting and experimentation.
  • Run A/B tests and iterative experiments to improve signup, activation, and trial conversion.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support to identify blockers and improve the user journey.
  • Write clean, maintainable, performant code and ensure features are deployed with observability, logging, alerts, and error tracking.
  • Maintain strong privacy, compliance, and security standards across systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Product Engineer, ideally with growth or product engineering exposure.
  • Experience with modern frontend and backend development using React or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of SaaS funnels, including signup, onboarding, usage, activation, and conversion.
  • Experience implementing behavioral analytics, event tracking, and activation dashboards.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Amplitude, Segment, BigQuery, or PostHog.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and statistical analysis of experiments.
  • Ability to balance speed with technical debt while shipping quickly and cleanly.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across product, growth, and marketing teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong design sensibility and experience creating polished, customer-facing interfaces.
  • Preferred experience in activation or conversion work at a B2B SaaS or API-based startup.
  • Preferred experience improving self-serve flows in technical products such as APIs, dashboards, or developer-facing tools.
  • Preferred ability to explain concepts like time-to-value, North Star metrics, or growth loops.
  • Preferred portfolio evidence of pixel-perfect implementation and attention to detail.
