Description

  • Own the outbound pipeline and generate £2M+ of qualified pipeline annually through outreach, events, referrals, networking, and partnerships across the UK legal market.
  • Build and document the outbound playbook for Actionstep UK, testing and refining what works over time.
  • Qualify prospects against the ideal customer profile so Account Executives receive closeable opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Executives to manage clean handoffs and stay close to deal outcomes to improve lead quality.
  • Build and maintain a deep network across UK law firms and represent Actionstep at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Track pipeline metrics, analyse performance, and provide clear recommendations to the Sales Director.
  • Support the conversion of BDM-sourced pipeline into closed-won revenue against annual targets.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of building high-quality outbound pipeline in B2B SaaS, with deals that actually close.
  • Experience selling to senior stakeholders through long, complex sales cycles.
  • Genuine knowledge of and curiosity about the legal sector, including how law firms buy and make decisions.
  • Strong commercial instinct to assess prospect quality and pursue opportunities decisively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging Managing Partners, Operations Directors, and CFOs.
  • Comfortable working with Salesforce and Outreach.io, or equivalent tools, with the ability to ramp up quickly.
  • Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to own results without close management.
  • Experience selling into UK law firms or professional services is desirable.
  • An existing network in the UK legal market is desirable.
  • Experience setting up an outbound function or sales playbook from scratch is desirable.

  • £60,000-£70,000 base salary with £110,000-£120,000 OTE.
