Description

  • Build, own, and maintain platform features that process and synchronize millions of user records.
  • Develop and maintain services for user lifecycle management and HRIS integrations.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for platform and service improvements.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code for distributed systems and APIs.
  • Integrate with third-party HRIS platforms while maintaining data integrity and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the full stack, including API integrations and database performance.
  • Review peer code and contribute to code quality, maintainability, and architectural alignment.
  • Estimate effort for medium to large initiatives and contribute to sprint planning and technical discussions.
  • Document system designs and decisions so other engineers can maintain and extend the work.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams to solve data synchronization challenges.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, master's degree in computer science preferred, or related field.
  • Experience working on Agile teams.
  • Strong programming skills in any language, with bonus experience in Python, Go, and/or PHP.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture and system design principles.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that align with architecture standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple domains and work on cross-team projects.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and try new things.
