Description

  • Design and deliver complete applications from database schema through API layer to frontend interface.
  • Support an established platform application while also building pilot solutions and custom MVPs for emerging requirements.
  • Develop and extend backend services, including Django-based API gateways and related application logic.
  • Build and maintain frontend user interfaces, including React dashboards for operational workflows.
  • Write migration scripts to move legacy data into modern PostgreSQL schemas.
  • Integrate authentication and access control services such as Keycloak for new applications.
  • Deploy and operate applications across multiple AWS partitions and classification levels.
  • Use Terraform, GitLab, and CI/CD workflows to manage infrastructure and software delivery.
  • Produce secure, well-tested, and well-documented code suitable for classified environments.
  • Collaborate closely with a small team, taking ownership of code, commitments, and issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Python backend development using Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience building production frontend applications with React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs, including BFF patterns and schema validation.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, migrations, and data loading.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, including classified partitions and regions.
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience integrating authentication systems such as Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, or CAC/PIV.
  • Experience developing secure applications for STIG-hardened, FIPS-validated environments.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps scanning, and AI-assisted development tooling.
  • Active TS/SCI federal security clearance required.
  • Nice to have: experience with generative AI features such as RAG pipelines, LLM integration, or embedding-based search.
  • Nice to have: experience migrating legacy systems into modern cloud-native architectures.
  • Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, hardened container supply chains, and FIPS-validated image pipelines.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls, multi-classification deployments, and intelligence community or DoW mission systems.
