Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within an assigned territory.
  • Identify, prospect, qualify, and close new enterprise accounts within the Fortune 500.
  • Expand and deepen relationships within the existing customer base to drive account growth and retention.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts in Salesforce to increase visibility of short- and long-term opportunities.
  • Lead product demonstrations and presentations that communicate the value proposition of Acceldata’s solutions.
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and customer needs to inform sales approach and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, customer success, and partner teams (ISVs/GSIs) to drive cohesive customer engagement and revenue.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions, address client concerns, and close deals in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software sales experience selling into the Fortune 500 with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
  • Experience prospecting, driving, orchestrating, and closing complex sales cycles in Data Quality, Governance, Orchestration, Catalog, Management, or Reliability domains.
  • Experience using Salesforce and sales tools such as Clari, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and ZoomInfo.
  • Willingness to develop territory via outbound prospecting, SDR partnership, marketing, and partner channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to articulate complex, value-oriented and architectural concepts clearly.
  • Strong technical understanding of databases, data warehousing, cloud, ETL, and related data ecosystem technologies.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical stakeholders including data engineers and Chief Data Officers.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and to work outside normal hours when required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for prospect/customer meetings, trade shows, and other customer-facing events.
