Description

  • Identify business opportunities and execute complex account engagement strategies aligned to Acadia’s strategic priorities.
  • Build, develop, and advance relationships with key medical experts, Centers of Excellence, hospitals, IDNs, and other strategic organizations.
  • Assess patient journeys and gaps in care to educate stakeholders on potential EHR interventions.
  • Implement medication transitions of care processes within hospitals, including discharge order sets.
  • Understand P&T processes at assigned IDNs and institutions to support formulary access and related implementation efforts.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with IDN SPP partners to advance projects, remove access barriers, and identify new opportunities.
  • Educate and engage fellows and residents to support project development within Centers of Excellence, IDNs, and health systems.
  • Track and record account information and competitive intelligence in account management tools and resources.
  • Create access and pull-through opportunities for the field sales organization to support compliance, market share, and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, U.S. healthcare laws, and regulations across assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
  • For Health Systems Manager, 5+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, account management, or hospital sales is required.
  • For Health Systems Manager, experience in CNS and specialty pharmacy is strongly preferred.
  • For Health Systems Manager, experience with institutional and/or IDN/complex systems is strongly preferred.
  • For Senior Health Systems Manager, 8+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals or life sciences is required.
  • For Senior Health Systems Manager, 3+ years of experience in institutional, IDN/complex health system management, or Regional Sales Manager roles with demonstrated national-level leadership is required.
  • Strong understanding of the patient journey and care gaps is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong influencing, negotiating, and presentation skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, and CRM tools is required.
  • Ability to work independently with limited support or guidance is required.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% is required.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work in a highly regulated environment are required.

  • Health Systems Manager salary range: $128,000-$160,000 USD.
  • Senior Health Systems Manager salary range: $158,000-$197,000 USD.
