Description

  • Contact prospective clients through outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Proactively source new business opportunities within the market.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
  • Partner effectively and collaborate across sales teams.
  • Work with internal counterparts and external customers in a positive, motivating way.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Abnormal Security’s product offering.
  • Exercise leadership and effective sales planning within an assigned territory.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role; less experience is acceptable for the right candidate.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and connect business opportunities to value.
  • Strong professional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and time demands concurrently while achieving production goals.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling.
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively in prospecting and daily workflow.
  • Drive, grit, and a team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to compete and win.
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, Orum, Lusha, ActivelyAI, Glean, and Claude is preferred.
