Description

  • Sell Abnormal security solutions across a defined territory to exceed new annual recurring revenue quota.
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities with enterprise accounts to build sufficient pipeline.
  • Work enterprise accounts from initial conversations through contract signature and customer expansion.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support timely renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent data across sales systems including Salesforce, Highspot, and Close Plan.
  • Act as the customer and prospect voice for Sales Engineering/POV, Product, and Marketing to help prioritize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop value-driven business cases and tailor demos and messaging to stakeholder needs.
  • Document customer insights and deal lessons to support broader team learning.
  • Navigate and support internal buying processes and coordinate cross-functional resources.
  • Leverage cross-functional partners including SEs, marketing, BDRs, product, CS, and channel teams.

Requirements

  • Must be local to the Pittsburgh area.
  • 3+ years of direct enterprise account hunter experience selling into 3,000+ employee organizations.
  • Experience prospecting, winning new logos, and expanding large accounts in competitive, incumbent-heavy environments.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with large organizations and close complex sales.
  • Consistent over-quota performance and/or top 5% performance in a sales organization.
  • Technical fluency in security, email, cloud, AI, and related areas.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel with average sales of $100K+.
  • Startup or early-stage company experience, ideally in a resource-constrained or underdog environment.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience building territory with limited resources, including channel, technology partners, and initial customer wins, preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $144,500 to $170,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for bonus or incentive compensation.
