Description

  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships as a senior partner to product, business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead client discovery through stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, opportunity framing, AI use-case mapping, and prioritized recommendations.
  • Facilitate executive workshops and working sessions that drive alignment, priorities, product direction, and next steps.
  • Create clear written artifacts such as briefs, opportunity maps, product strategy documents, PRDs, roadmaps, and recommendation decks.
  • Own product strategy through build and implementation, including sprint planning, backlog decisions, and delivery alignment.
  • Partner with product design, engineering, and AI engineering to validate feasibility and navigate architecture, data, governance, and tradeoff decisions.
  • Define outcome hypotheses, success measures, and learning plans that balance user value, business impact, feasibility, and time-to-value.
  • Help clients identify and design AI-enabled products and workflows, including automation, human-in-the-loop decisions, evaluation, privacy, security, reliability, and change management.
  • Support pre-sales efforts by joining early client conversations, shaping engagement approaches, contributing to proposals and SOWs, and estimating work.
  • Build and evolve Able’s product strategy and design discipline, including standards, AI-enabled workflows, coaching, and internal practice development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product strategy, product management, design strategy, consulting, agency work, startup leadership, or a closely related product leadership role.
  • 2+ years leading product and/or design work through direct management, functional leadership, practice-building responsibility, or complex multidisciplinary engagements.
  • Strong consulting acumen, including client discovery, workshop facilitation, recommendation development, and credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting pre-sales and account growth, including early client conversations, proposals or SOWs, work estimation, and presenting a point of view.
  • Demonstrated ownership across the full product lifecycle from opportunity framing and discovery through build, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Hands-on experience designing, validating, or shipping AI-enabled products, agents, automations, internal tools, or AI-assisted workflows.
  • Proficiency using AI applications for research, synthesis, workflow analysis, prototyping, requirements, documentation, and delivery practices.
  • Experience partnering with product design, software engineering, and AI engineering teams on feasibility, architecture, data, evaluation, and governance conversations.
  • Ability to translate messy stakeholder input into a clear problem definition, prioritized opportunities, and defensible recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English, and comfort working 100% remote within the USA.
  • Startup, consulting, agency, venture studio, or similarly entrepreneurial operating experience is strongly preferred.
