Description

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for lending, F&I menu, and contract management products.
  • Translate dealer research, lender feedback, compliance requirements, and usage data into prioritized product decisions tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Own the product line P&L, including revenue, inference costs, margin, and feature-level pricing decisions.
  • Drive AI-first product strategy across lender matching, credit decisioning, product matching, contract generation, and deal jacket validation.
  • Partner with engineering on architecture decisions, scope trade-offs, API integrations, data models, document workflows, and event-driven systems.
  • Participate in design reviews and push back on technical choices that create compliance, lender, funding, or document-integrity risk.
  • Own a single backlog across current-state and next-generation work, including charter documents, PRDs, Jira epics, and sprint planning.
  • Define and monitor KPIs such as approval rates, submission and document error rates, eSignature completion, time-to-fund, chargebacks, compliance pass rates, dealer NPS, and product MRR.
  • Lead phased rollouts using feature flags, dealer enablement, and cohort-based graduation from shadow mode to production.
  • Manage lender, aftermarket product, eSignature, document, and funding partner relationships end-to-end.

Requirements

  • 5+ years owning the full product lifecycle with experience bridging market strategy and sprint execution.
  • 5+ years working with or for automotive retail dealerships, with deep understanding of F&I workflows, lender submission, deal jacket management, document compliance, eSignature, and funding.
  • Experience building and shipping production AI-powered features or agent workflows beyond the demo stage with measurable outcomes.
  • Comfort engaging with API integrations, data models, document workflow systems, event-driven architectures, and system architecture discussions.
  • Strong command of Jira, including Epic and story authoring, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
  • Deep understanding of automotive F&I regulatory frameworks, including TILA, ECOA, and state-level disclosure requirements.
  • Knowledge of consumer-facing AI regulations, including the Colorado AI Act, CCPA ADMT, and TCPA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce PRDs, trade-off analyses, and strategy narratives.
  • Experience with aftermarket vendor management and F&I product optimization (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience managing eSignature, document, or lender funding partner relationships in a product capacity (preferred).
