Description

  • Build and deploy production agents using Strands or LangGraph on AgentCore Runtime, including memory, identity, gateway, and multi-agent workflows.
  • Design framework-agnostic Python tools, MCP servers, and Gateway targets for safe access to production APIs.
  • Create offline and online evaluation pipelines, including LLM-as-judge CI/CD gates to detect regressions.
  • Implement guardrails, approval gates, rollback paths, and safe-failure behavior for production agents.
  • Track per-agent costs and latency, and implement multi-model routing to optimize workflow economics.
  • Own observability through AgentCore tracing, OpenTelemetry, and CloudWatch dashboards.
  • Integrate agents with REST, SOAP, and event-driven systems serving thousands of isolated dealer tenants.
  • Ramp on dealer workflows and platform architecture, then independently ship agents and tools with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on production experience building LLM agents in a code-first framework.
  • Experience with Strands, LangGraph, Google ADK, OpenAI Agents SDK, or a comparable agent framework.
  • Strong Python skills and the ability to read and contribute to Java Spring Boot services.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS serverless services, including Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and Step Functions.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, tool or function-calling design, and evaluating LLM output quality in production.
  • Business-oriented judgment and experience choosing simpler solutions when they better serve customers.
  • Experience with production observability using OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch.
  • Preferred: Strands Agents, AgentCore Runtime, MCP servers, LLM-as-judge evaluation, agent governance, or agent-to-agent orchestration.
  • Preferred: Automotive, fintech, marketplace, multi-tenant platform, data pipeline, Glue, Athena, or ETL experience.
  • Familiarity with Bedrock Guardrails, model cost and latency optimization, and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
