Description

  • Lead all aspects of large or complex IT projects and manage teams of IT professionals.
  • Provide day-to-day tasking to ensure deadlines and delivery commitments are met.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, managers, and government project leads.
  • Coordinate requirements and scheduling activities across delivery orders.
  • Collect schedule and resource inputs to develop and maintain an integrated master schedule.
  • Analyze project-related problems and develop solutions affecting schedule, technology, methodology, tools, and financial management.
  • Prepare and maintain program management plans and ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
  • Monitor project life cycle activities and produce required project artifacts.
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure team members follow established processes in a CMMI-DEV Level III environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a directly related field.
  • 8+ years of experience leading the development, maintenance, and improvement of information technology projects and planning processes.
  • 3+ years of experience leading IT solutions and software development projects in a federal environment.
  • Minimum of 3+ years managing projects related to applications development, system operations and maintenance, or cloud migration.
  • Prior primary project management and delivery experience for federal contracts preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, HP ALM, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Deltek/CostPoint preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a public trust clearance.
  • PMP certification required.
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • Agile or Scrum Master certification preferred.
