Description

  • Own complex, multi-phase customer implementation and services engagements from initiation through formal closure.
  • Lead and coach a small global team of Project Managers, setting expectations and enforcing consistent delivery standards.
  • Personally manage high-value or high-complexity customer accounts while developing team capability.
  • Establish project-management standards, templates, methodologies, resource forecasting, effort estimation, and change-control practices.
  • Define governance and closure criteria for complex, recurring, and long-duration programs.
  • Build risk-management, dependency-tracking, and executive-escalation practices for customer engagements.
  • Partner with Professional Services, technical teams, Sales, and Customer Success to align delivery plans with customer commitments and business priorities.
  • Serve as an executive contact for project status, risks, and escalations with customer sponsors and internal leadership.
  • Own portfolio reporting for project health, milestones, budgets, hours, utilization, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Use portfolio data to identify delivery risks and build scalable PMO playbooks, templates, and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing complex enterprise technology implementations or Professional Services engagements across multiple concurrent projects or portfolios.
  • Experience leading and developing Project Managers while personally managing customer projects.
  • Strong executive-level customer communication and escalation-management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build or mature PMO processes, including governance, templates, reporting, and delivery methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of PMI-aligned project-management disciplines, including planning, risk, scope, and change management.
  • Experience managing project financials, including budgets, hours, forecasts, change requests, and resource plans.
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional organizations across regions and time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, information technology, or a related field.
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Rocketlane, Salesforce, or comparable PSA platforms, plus SaaS, enterprise software, CX, CCaaS, telecommunications, or testing/automation technologies, is preferred.
