Description

  • Collaborate with leadership to design state-of-the-art analytics processes for the team.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional analytics projects by defining success criteria, aligning stakeholders, and clarifying execution steps.
  • Conceptualize and build tools and infrastructure that support the data platform and analytics function.
  • Explore and analyze large datasets from first-party, third-party, and product usage sources.
  • Build and iterate on dashboards for stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, and customer support.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses that explain product usage patterns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and instrument KPIs with product managers, product leaders, engineers, and other analysts.
  • Create presentations with actionable recommendations and communicate insights across the company, including to executives.
  • Build robust multi-aggregation data transformation pipelines that process billions of records across thousands of customers.
  • Maintain documentation for analytical processes, insights, and methodologies, and improve operational processes for efficiency and transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or math-based discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics or engineering.
  • Expert-level SQL knowledge, including complex transformations, performance tuning, and large-scale data manipulation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects from ideation through execution.
  • Experience with data architecture, pipelines, and ETL processes.
  • Background spanning at least two of the following: data engineering, analytics engineering, and business/product analysis.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, Spark, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Metabase, and with data modeling best practices.
  • Strong grasp of data architecture, ETL/ELT design, and pipeline reliability patterns.

  • Base salary range of $108,720.00 to $159,456.00.
  • Bonus program or commission plan may be included.
