Description

  • Build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts and engage CIO, CTO, VP IT, and business leaders.
  • Lead end-to-end architectural design for multi-region, highly available cloud systems at global scale.
  • Establish and enforce infrastructure as code and configuration management standards across environments.
  • Architect multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity and workload portability strategies using Google Cloud technologies.
  • Design and operationalize production-grade generative AI and RAG architectures with security and cost controls.
  • Scale automated MLOps pipelines from ingestion through model serving using Vertex AI or self-hosted open-source models.
  • Design and lead zero-trust security frameworks and technical controls for compliance readiness.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for critical production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Drive FinOps and cost-optimization strategies to balance performance and long-term cloud spend.
  • Lead requirements gathering, project scoping, solution design, architecture diagramming, and technical recommendations for clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of GCP experience required; experience in other clouds is beneficial.
  • Proven experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing globally distributed cloud-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of API-first design principles and API management platforms.
  • Extensive experience with cloud security, zero trust, and networking.
  • Ability to advise on and implement CI/CD practices using GitHub, GitLab, Cloud Build, and Cloud Deploy.
  • Experience with GitOps and GitFlow workflows.
  • Experience containerizing workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Artifact Registry.
  • Knowledge of emerging cloud and IT technologies, methodologies, and solutions.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, influence, organizational, and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation and knowledge transfer through remote meetings, written documents, technical diagrams, and slide decks.
  • Experience implementing hybrid connectivity using VPN or Cloud Interconnect is a plus.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification plus any other Professional certification preferred; Data Engineer preferred or L400 Generative AI skill badge.
  • Additional certifications such as CKA, CKS, or Terraform are strongly recommended.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
