Description

  • Analyze data integrity issues by investigating, correcting, and monitoring SQL data and related logs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and remedy data issues through code and database investigation when needed.
  • Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Design, craft, and deliver performant, scalable, secure, and high-quality client code.
  • Participate in planning, estimation, and requirements gathering for project work.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to address user pain points and iterate on solutions.
  • Take part in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Communities of Practice and the Engineering Practice community.
  • Drive project delivery independently from conceptualization through deployment within defined architecture.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Experience using AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or RDS.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation.
  • High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience building well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.
  • Good understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with OWASP.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Preferred experience optimizing backend performance and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Preferred familiarity with modern frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Preferred knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Docker, Kubernetes, and ORMs.
  • Preferred experience with architectural and design patterns such as Microservices, Serverless, Factory, Singleton, and Observer.
  • Preferred experience with unit testing.
  • Preferred professional software engineering experience on multi-discipline teams.
