Description

  • Analyze data integrity issues by investigating logs and SQL/query data, identifying root causes, correcting records, and remedying related code defects.
  • Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations with client stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver efficient, performant, scalable, secure, and well-tested client code.
  • Participate in planning, estimation, requirements gathering, and feature presentation for clients.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
  • Take part in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.
  • Mentor other engineers through Communities of Practice or project teams and support technical capability growth.
  • Own project delivery within the defined architecture from conceptualization through deployment.
  • Execute complex work within current methodology and quality standards across multiple engagements.
  • Stay current with Node.js and AWS technologies to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Experience using AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing backend performance.
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation.
  • High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience building well-tested, scalable, performant enterprise-level systems.
  • Good understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with OWASP.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with modern frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines (desired).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design (desired).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (optional).
  • Experience with object-relational mappers (ORMs) and architectural/design patterns such as Factory, Singleton, and Observer (desired).
  • Unit testing experience (desired).
