Description

  • Write efficient, performant, testable, scalable, and secure client code.
  • Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs with strong reliability and observability.
  • Own technical features and projects from technical design through successful production launch.
  • Identify, prioritize, remediate, and verify technical debt and security issues.
  • Gather requirements, align understanding across the team, and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Provide status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Work within the current delivery methodology and uphold quality standards.
  • Help improve system stability, performance, and developer velocity.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in software engineering with a primary focus on Python and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to own technical features from design through production deployment with minimal supervision.
  • Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and solving ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Experience with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Experience with Python package management tools such as UV or Conda.
  • Experience with unit testing using Pytest.
  • Experience managing Docker containers and orchestration with Kubernetes and AKS.
  • Intermediate-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with relational databases.
  • Experience building frontend and backend applications at scale.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake.
  • Experience with agentic frameworks such as MCP or A2A.
  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation.
  • Knowledge of HTTP and serialization formats such as JSON and XML.
  • Knowledge of SCA platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, or Checkmarx.
  • Understanding of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts such as inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, and properties.
