Description

  • Define and own the AWS infrastructure strategy, with responsibility for uptime, scalability, and performance.
  • Architect secure, resilient backend workflows for enterprise client deployments.
  • Implement and enforce security frameworks across system layers, including encryption, network isolation, access controls, and compliance boundaries.
  • Design and secure data flows between MCP servers and third-party ERP integrations.
  • Own PostgreSQL infrastructure, including schema design, query optimization, scaling strategy, and backup integrity.
  • Integrate directly with the client engineering team and collaborate with Bolder Apps' design, DevOps, and QA support network.

Requirements

  • Senior backend track record building distributed, enterprise-grade production systems at scale.
  • Deep hands-on AWS experience with VPCs, IAM, ECS or EKS, RDS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Expert-level PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, migrations, connection pooling, and replication.
  • Strong security expertise covering secure communication protocols, encryption at rest and in transit, network isolation, and multi-server environment management.
  • Understanding of MCP server communication and the security considerations around LLM-to-system boundaries.
  • Exposure to LLM orchestration pipelines, automated code generation systems, or ERP data sync tooling.
  • Proactive communication style with the ability to flag infrastructure risks early and document decisions clearly.
