Description

  • Lead the design and enhancement of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, setting standards for excellence.
  • Architect and manage complex cloud environments with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Mentor DevOps engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Tackle complex system performance issues to maintain reliability and efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and manage the core CI/CD pipeline to enforce quality on every pull request.
  • Implement automated unit, integration, and characterization testing to ensure functional parity between C++ and new Java logic.
  • Configure quality gates such as 100% golden master match and less than 10% performance regression.
  • Deliver an automated configuration management process and system that supports rapid deployment across environments.
  • Define and manage Kubernetes resources, autoscaling, health probes, and graceful shutdown behavior.
  • Implement observability, monitoring, secrets management, network policies, and distributed cache services for the platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of dedicated DevOps experience.
  • Strong focus on Kubernetes, automated testing, and observability in a telecommunications or high-performance environment.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD, C++, Java, and major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes containerization technologies.
  • Experience with deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or TeamCity.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or SaltStack.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes resources, autoscaling configuration, health probes, and graceful shutdown.
  • Deep experience with metrics, distributed tracing, structured logging, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana or similar.
  • Preferred: advanced certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or Kubernetes.
  • Preferred: ability to prioritize work based on business impact.
  • Preferred: experience providing accurate status tracking and reporting.
  • Preferred: ability to estimate testing and deployment efforts accurately.
