Description

  • Collaborate with test leads, developers, and product owners to develop test strategies and plans aligned to project objectives and timelines.
  • Design, prioritize, and execute tests with a focus on critical, high-impact areas first.
  • Expand and improve test automation frameworks, practices, and coverage.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes, tools, and overall QA efficiency.
  • Ensure QA processes and results are transparent and integrated into the broader development lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior team members and advocate for quality standards and best practices across the project.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tools.
  • Share knowledge, findings, and industry trends with the QA team and technical leadership.
  • Stay current on new testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Support quality assurance efforts across the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience.
  • Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and optimizing automated tests for speed and efficiency.
  • Advanced proficiency with test automation technologies such as Java, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Proficiency with databases and SQL for backend testing and data validation.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Experience testing browser-based applications and REST API service endpoints.
  • Proven leadership experience in Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, REST APIs, debugging, and networking concepts.
  • Preferred experience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP or Fortify.
  • Preferred experience with performance and load testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
  • Preferred experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe Dev Tools or screen readers.
  • Preferred certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level, CSTE, or equivalent.
