Description

  • Act as the liaison between the client’s business organization and software delivery teams.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to capture business needs.
  • Translate business needs into functional design specifications, user stories, use cases, and business process flows.
  • Manage, prioritize, and refine requirements with product management and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with business and technical teams to groom work, maintain alignment, and support high-quality delivery.
  • Define business dependencies and understand integration points across connected platforms.
  • Analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and reengineer workflows to improve automation potential.
  • Perform data mapping and define integration requirements between platforms.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan tasks, resources, timelines, and delivery risks.
  • Document feature sets, support QA validation, and lead user acceptance testing and operations handoff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a relevant role.
  • Experience with web and mobile platforms and APIs.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience creating mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Experience facilitating requirement meetings during business requirement gathering sessions or design discussions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated project management skills are preferred.
  • Hands-on quality assurance background with full-cycle testing and requirements traceability is preferred.
  • Scrum training and/or certifications are preferred.
  • CBAP or PMI-PBA certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Business Process Management solutions such as Macess (BPM) is nice to have.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Excel, JIRA, Confluence, and similar business analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
