Description

  • Act as liaison between the client’s business organization and software delivery teams.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to guide the development and implementation of business solutions.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to capture business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into functional design specifications, user stories, use cases, and business process flows.
  • Manage and prioritize requirements with product management and cross-functional teams.
  • Work with business and technical teams to groom and prioritize work and support effective delivery of solutions.
  • Define business dependencies and understand system intricacies for integrated platforms.
  • Analyze complex business processes, identify automation opportunities, and reengineer processes to improve automation potential.
  • Perform data mapping and define integration requirements between platforms.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan tasks, resources, timelines, and track risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
  • Document feature sets, work with QA to validate functionality, and lead User Acceptance Testing sessions.
  • Support operational handoff for launched features and participate in project status and leadership meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a relevant role.
  • Knowledge of web- and mobile-based platforms and experience working with APIs.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience creating mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Experience leading and facilitating requirement meetings during business requirement gathering sessions or design discussions.
  • Knowledge of basic documentation software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated project management skills (preferred).
  • Hands-on quality assurance background with full-cycle testing of functional requirements and requirements traceability (preferred).
  • Scrum training and/or certifications (preferred).
  • CBAP or PMI-PBA certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Business Process Management solutions such as Macess (BPM) is nice to have.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Excel, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a change-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
