Description

  • Develop and maintain scalable lending module services that support multiple lending products.
  • Design and implement highly performant systems for interest calculation, fee processing, billing, and payment schedule regeneration.
  • Build and evolve distributed microservices and RESTful APIs within a cloud-based environment.
  • Work across the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with teams to solve complex technical problems and improve system availability and operational excellence.
  • Write production-quality code that is clean, reliable, maintainable, and performant.
  • Apply test-driven development practices and create unit, integration, and functional tests for web services.
  • Mentor and support junior developers through technical guidance and best practices.
  • Assess technical trade-offs and help deliver optimal solutions in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment practices and support delivery of high-quality software.

Requirements

  • Solid Java development experience, ideally with Java 21 or higher.
  • Strong experience with Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot 3.x.x.
  • Demonstrable test-driven development mindset with experience writing unit, integration, and functional tests for web services.
  • Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
  • Experience building and deploying production microservices with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Proven experience developing JVM-based microservices in Kubernetes and delivering them through the full development lifecycle.
  • Proven experience building cloud-based solutions on AWS.
  • Good understanding of distributed cloud-based microservices and development best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and empower others.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin, Spring reactive, Quarkus, Terraform, Redis, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.
