Description

  • Define and shape analytics strategy for one or more games, aligning analysis with long-term business goals.
  • Identify ambiguous, high-impact problems and drive them from framing through measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop and apply advanced analytical methods, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and causal inference.
  • Own architecture-level decisions for modeling approaches, data infrastructure, and measurement frameworks.
  • Deliver analytics and data science projects that improve core game metrics.
  • Influence senior and executive stakeholders through clear, data-driven storytelling and recommendations.
  • Mentor and develop analysts to strengthen the team’s analytical capabilities.
  • Build scalable data platforms, frameworks, and dashboards that support evidence-based decisions.
  • Lead the design, testing, verification, and implementation of machine learning models and product features.
  • Champion best practices in experimentation, data governance, and analytical reproducibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field; Master’s, MBA, or PhD strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in data science or analytics with increasing scope and impact.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with at least one visualization tool such as Tableau or Looker.
  • Deep expertise in statistics, experimental design, causal inference, machine learning, and/or deep learning.
  • Track record of production-scale deployment and analysis of large datasets.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem framing through production impact with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic change through data.
  • Experience mentoring and growing other data scientists or analysts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, complex problem spaces and collaborate across engineering, product, design, marketing, and studio leadership.
  • Strong passion for gaming.
  • Experience in gaming, mobile, or consumer tech is a plus.
