Description

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding for new customers, from authentication setup through data mart configuration.
  • Integrate customer systems with Zus using APIs, SFTP, HL7, FHIR, and related interoperability tools.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical architectures and implementation plans.
  • Build and maintain automated workflows, scripts, templates, and tooling that improve implementation speed and reliability.
  • Serve as the trusted technical advisor for customers during complex integration work and implementation reviews.
  • Identify integration risks early and resolve blockers proactively.
  • Train customers on best practices so they can use the platform effectively and independently.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to surface integration challenges and provide roadmap feedback.
  • Document learnings and create repeatable playbooks that improve team processes.
  • Collaborate on emerging capabilities around AI, data pipelines, and developer tooling.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, or systems integration, preferably in healthtech or SaaS.
  • Deep familiarity with healthcare data standards including FHIR, HL7, and CCD.
  • Experience with major EMRs such as Epic, Cerner, and athenahealth.
  • Strong API and data pipeline experience, including ETL, REST APIs, JSON, and CSV ingestion.
  • Comfort working with data platforms such as Snowflake and SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Python scripting skills and SQL fluency for data wrangling and workflow automation.
  • Understanding of secure environments and compliance requirements such as HIPAA and SOC2.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and balancing technical rigor with business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical complexity to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, unstructured problems and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer engagements and company events.
