Description

  • Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing sales engineering team.
  • Refine sales engineering processes, including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept.
  • Coach the team to develop solution proposals and deliver effective product demonstrations.
  • Provide expert guidance on RFPs and present recommendations to clients.
  • Lead technical whiteboarding sessions and presentations for customers and their leadership teams.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure solutions are implemented to customer expectations.
  • Drive smooth technical handoffs and support delivery of customized solutions.
  • Set the technical strategy for healthcare customers and help translate complex security needs into business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or systems engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and directing a sales engineering team.
  • Deep technical knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies.
  • Experience participating in regional industry events as a subject matter expert (preferred).
  • Demonstrated project management skills (preferred).
  • Deep hands-on technical experience in routing, switching, cloud architecture, or firewalls (preferred).
