Description

  • Set technical direction for marquee multi-region opportunities and drive strategic customer outcomes.
  • Accelerate deals by applying technical expertise and sales experience to win customer technical teams.
  • Drive enablement and solution development with customers and partners to create and close new business opportunities.
  • Lead cross-portfolio architecture discussions and adapt emerging solution areas to customer needs over a one- to two-year horizon.
  • Engage stakeholders from C-level leaders to department heads and support practitioners on critical technical challenges.
  • Share ownership of sales forecasts with the regional leadership team.
  • Influence product roadmap proposals by packaging field insights through the EMEA technical advisory function.
  • Mentor senior Sales Engineers and assess regional capability gaps.
  • Represent the Solutions Consulting function in key partner and analyst forums.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to resolve highly complex technical edge cases under tight timelines.

Requirements

  • More than 12 years of technical pre-sales experience, including at least 5 years in senior individual contributor or technical leadership roles.
  • Deep experience across Zscaler and peer platforms, including network security, networking technologies, AI security, identity and access management, cyber risk, and EDR/XDR.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and active use of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex multinational organizational structures.
  • Proven success delivering high-value, technically demanding Proofs of Value (PoVs) with minimal overlay resources.
  • Experience collaborating with solution architects to solve highly complex technical edge cases within constrained timeframes.
  • Established thought leadership in emerging security areas such as agentic AI security, AI guardrails, or post-quantum cryptography.
  • An established network of technical champions across large companies in Northern Europe is preferred.
  • Multiple top-level industry certifications such as Zscaler Architect, CCIE, CISSP, or advanced hyperscaler/cloud certifications are preferred.
