Description

  • Develop and optimize automatic speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems.
  • Design and integrate voice-enabled applications, chatbots, and virtual assistants into products and services.
  • Implement NLP/NLU models to understand intent, context, and conversational flows.
  • Integrate voice technologies with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, contact centers, and mobile apps.
  • Work with voice APIs and services (Google Speech, AWS Lex/Polly, Azure Cognitive Services) and open-source voice frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI, product, engineering, UX) to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, low latency, and multilingual capabilities for voice applications through performance and optimization work.
  • Research and adopt emerging generative voice technologies (voice cloning, emotion modeling, real-time synthesis) to enhance user experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer with a focus on voice technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), NLP, and NLU.
  • Hands-on experience with voice and conversational frameworks such as DeepSpeech, Kaldi, Whisper, Rasa, or Dialogflow.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Experience integrating cloud-based AI services for voice on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of audio signal processing and real-time system optimization.
  • Ability to design scalable architectures for voice-enabled enterprise solutions.
  • Experience with multilingual voice AI systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of emotion detection, sentiment analysis, and personalization in voice AI (preferred).
  • Exposure to contact center AI solutions such as Genesys, Five9, or Twilio Flex; background in linguistics, HCI, or cognitive science is a plus; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
