Description

  • Write, maintain, and improve end-to-end automated tests using Cypress.
  • Expand automated test coverage across critical user workflows.
  • Improve the reliability and structure of existing test suites.
  • Implement automated regression testing opportunities.
  • Perform exploratory testing on new features before release.
  • Validate bug fixes and confirm proper issue resolution.
  • Reproduce reported issues and document clear steps to reproduce.
  • Test cross-browser behavior and UI consistency.
  • Validate staging environments before production deployments.
  • Verify integrations and authentication flows such as SSO and OAuth.
  • Work closely with engineers to identify bugs, edge cases, and root causes.
  • Document QA processes, test cases, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience with Cypress for automated end-to-end testing.
  • Strong understanding of modern web applications, including APIs, authentication, cookies, and sessions.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable test code in JavaScript.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as GitHub Issues or Jira.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment.
  • Experience testing SaaS platforms (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with OAuth, SSO, and MFA authentication flows (nice to have).
  • Experience testing API endpoints (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions (nice to have).
  • Experience testing security-sensitive workflows (nice to have).
