Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
  • Build scalable REST APIs and services for distributed system architectures.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in Agile development processes using Scrum and Jira.
  • Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers.
  • Review code and help improve engineering standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as needed.
  • Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python backend development.
  • Experience building applications using Flask.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and service-based architectures.
  • Experience working with Git-based workflows, including GitHub.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong focus on testing, reliability, and code quality.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Must be located in Latam.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications in GCP environments (nice to have).
  • Experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
  • Experience building or maintaining high-availability backend systems (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with compliance, security, or regulated environments (nice to have).
