Description

  • Produce high-quality, documented, efficient, tested, and maintainable code.
  • Improve observability and monitoring across applications.
  • Proactively raise the technical quality, standards, and practices of the team.
  • Strengthen application security, performance, and stability.
  • Conduct and participate in high-quality code reviews.
  • Collaborate on technical discussions and propose simple, objective architecture solutions.
  • Estimate and plan delivery timelines with product stakeholders.
  • Work with ambiguous requirements to help define solutions with product, stakeholders, and the team.
  • Build incremental solutions with product to support continuous improvement and delivery.
  • Monitor production incidents and act to resolve application issues.
  • Lead projects to ensure delivery within estimates.
  • Mentor team members and participate in hiring processes for engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional software engineering experience in Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with architecture and development of distributed systems.
  • Experience with technologies such as Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Knowledge of AI tools.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Advanced or fluent English.
  • Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Preferred: Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Preferred: Experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, or similar technologies.
