Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to understand prospect environments, cost challenges, optimization goals, and business objectives through technical discovery.
  • Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Value exercises, including POC preparation and management.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that address customer use cases and concerns.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses that communicate cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for SELECT and support seamless customer implementation experiences.
  • Own the technical win by guiding prospects through technical evaluation and addressing requirements.
  • Represent DoiT and SELECT at events and industry conferences through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Translate customer pain points and feature gaps into structured feedback for R&D and roadmap discussions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in internal systems and contribute metrics and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role at a B2B SaaS company, with significant experience selling to Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery users.
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, including associated best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions in observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration for cloud data platforms.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, outliers, and correlations and turn them into actionable insights.
  • Strong ability to build business cases and ROI justifications using product data.
  • Ability to explain complex cloud data platform concepts and product functionality clearly to technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers, especially on cloud data platform cost management.
  • Experience with modern technical selling methodologies and competitive sales processes, including trial, demo, and RFP support.
  • Prior experience as a Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery data engineer/architect or FinOps professional is a plus.
  • Success working in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally within the cloud data platform ecosystem.
