Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to run technical discovery sessions and understand prospect environments, cost challenges, and business objectives.
  • Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Value exercises, including POC preparation and management.
  • Tailor and deliver product demonstrations that address prospect use cases and concerns.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses that show cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for SELECT and help ensure strong implementation outcomes.
  • Own the technical win by guiding prospects through evaluation and addressing technical requirements.
  • Represent DoiT and SELECT at events and industry conferences through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Translate customer pain points and feature gaps into structured feedback for R&D and roadmap discussions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to systems that track business metrics and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Significant experience selling to Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery users.
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and associated best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions for cloud data platforms, observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, outliers, and correlations.
  • Proven ability to build business cases and ROI justifications using product data.
  • Ability to explain complex cloud data platform concepts clearly to technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers.
  • Experience with modern technical selling methodologies and competitive sales processes, including trials, demos, and RFPs.
  • Prior experience as a Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery data engineer, architect, or FinOps professional is a plus.
  • Track record of success in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally within the cloud data platform ecosystem.
