Description

  • Define product and solution vision, functional decomposition, assumptions, dependencies, and out-of-scope items with product designers and solution architects.
  • Plan BA activities, estimate BA effort and capacity, and support project execution planning.
  • Analyze the business domain, key business processes, and value streams related to client requests.
  • Work with account managers, client engagement managers, and business development managers to identify sales strategies and opportunities.
  • Lead product ideation, vision, and scope-framing workshops with clients both online and onsite.
  • Present commercial proposals and product or solution vision to client stakeholders.
  • Provide solution options analysis and recommendations based on sales ideation, timelines, goals, and objectives.
  • Create and maintain high-level artifacts that guide project and business vision for other BAs.
  • Transfer knowledge and documentation from pre-sales to the project team during kickoff and support early project execution.
  • Identify, define, and validate business needs, synthesize findings into features, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Establish, control, and improve requirements management processes and define metrics for BA result assessment.
  • Conduct project, product, and requirements audits and contribute to Business Analysis Office competence development and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Over 8 years of experience in business analysis roles.
  • Experience working in both supplier-side and internal business-side Business Analyst roles.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all management levels.
  • Ability to design and execute communication plans for stakeholders with limited availability, including stakeholder risk management.
  • Ability to distinguish between business needs, user needs, and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong proficiency in BA techniques and tools, with responsibility for the quality of delivered artifacts.
  • Proficiency in AI tools that support Business Analysis, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Expert knowledge of at least one category of non-functional requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the full requirements lifecycle, including elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid software development methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in an Agile environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one target domain, such as insurance, energy, hospitality, or life sciences.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Solid understanding of lean product development principles and design thinking methodology.
  • Understanding of service-oriented business models and service development approaches.
