Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to run technical discovery sessions and understand prospect environments, cost challenges, and business objectives.
  • Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Value exercises, including preparation, coordination, and successful execution.
  • Tailor and deliver product demonstrations that showcase SELECT capabilities and address customer use cases.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses that quantify cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for SELECT and support seamless customer implementation experiences.
  • Own the technical win for SELECT opportunities by guiding prospects through evaluation and addressing technical requirements.
  • Present DoiT and SELECT at events and industry conferences to a wider audience.
  • Translate customer pain points and feature gaps into structured feedback for R&D and roadmap discussions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in internal systems and contribute to business reporting and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering at a B2B SaaS company, with significant exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery users or cloud cost management.
  • Deep, demonstrable understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and associated best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions in Cloud Data Platform observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, outliers, and correlations and turn them into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to build compelling business cases and ROI justifications using product data.
  • Excellent ability to explain complex Cloud Data Platform concepts and product capabilities to both technical and business audiences.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on cloud data platform and cost management topics.
  • Experience with modern technical selling methodologies and contributing to trial, demo, and RFP processes in competitive environments.
  • Prior experience as a Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery data engineer/architect, or as a FinOps professional, is a plus.
  • Success in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally within the Cloud Data Platform ecosystem.
  • Remote work eligibility based in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Estonia, with contractor opportunities in Poland, Romania, or Portugal.
