Description

  • Architect and develop new features for SELECT's cloud cost management product.
  • Create cost management features such as forecasts, anomaly alerts, and cost allocations.
  • Develop reusable and robust UI components for the cost exploration experience.
  • Build new data visualization capabilities for performance, query timing, and efficiency insights.
  • Build data pipelines and dbt models to surface new insights and opportunities.
  • Improve the reliability and performance of the application.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and planning through implementation, testing, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with founders and other engineers on roadmap decisions and software design.
  • Identify the most important problems to solve and make practical trade-offs that maximize customer impact.
  • Communicate clearly through proposals, documentation, commit messages, and testing.

Requirements

  • Experience developing full-stack applications.
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, or willingness to learn them.
  • Experience with system design.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Experience with FinOps, cloud infrastructure cost management, data warehouse management, or observability is a plus.
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus.
  • Based in Canada, Mexico, Colombia, or the United States, and able to work in America timezones.
  • Enjoys a collaborative environment and having fun at work.
