Description

  • Develop and deploy software for a specific real-world mission in partnership with customers.
  • Lead software teams to design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and tooling for operational software deployment.
  • Support cloud toolsets, including AWS-based environments, in unclassified settings.
  • Configure and maintain multiple CI/CD environments across different classification levels.
  • Focus deployment environments on developer productivity, application performance, security monitoring, and alerting.
  • Travel to integration sites to deploy, test, and triage software in secure operational environments.
  • Run incident response and post-outage reviews to improve deployment, monitoring, and alerting processes.
  • Coach team members on DevOps best practices and help continuously improve processes.
  • Manage relationships with customer environments while ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with at least 7 years of work experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience deploying software for Department of Defense or Intelligence Community missions.
  • Strong knowledge of modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Experience building full-stack applications and integrating APIs for deployment in high-security environments.
  • Knowledge of performance-focused tools and techniques for rendering large datasets and building responsive interfaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt new languages, libraries, and technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: active TS/SCI clearance, advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, prior U.S. military service with joint planning and large-force battle monitoring experience, and willingness to relocate to San Diego, Denver, Arlington, or Boston.
