Description

  • Break down mission use cases and user-defined problems into prototype capabilities and MVPs.
  • Build and evolve full-stack applications into cohesive, operational software products.
  • Develop high-performance frontend features that remain fast, smooth, and intuitive under heavy load.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams to design, build, and deploy integrated systems.
  • Integrate independent capabilities into existing solutions and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with military and government end-users to translate mission needs into software features.
  • Deploy, test, and triage software at customer and integration sites in secure environments.
  • Maintain software systems deployed in operational use with a focus on quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage customer relationships while coordinating engineering delivery and product execution.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, plus at least 7 years of work experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience deploying software for Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) missions.
  • Strong knowledge of modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Experience building and deploying software solutions in complex, high-security environments.
  • Knowledge of performance-focused tools and techniques for rendering large datasets and building responsive interfaces.
  • Ability to adopt new languages, libraries, and technologies quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Preferred: advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: prior U.S. military service with experience in joint planning, large force battle monitoring, and large force debrief best practices.
  • Preferred: willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA; Denver, CO; Arlington, VA; or Boston, MA, if not already located there.

Benefits

  • Full-time salary range of $175,000 to $240,000.
