Description

  • Design, build, and deploy large-scale distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines using Go and cloud-native technologies.
  • Lead system-wide architectural decisions with a focus on data flow, performance, and resilience.
  • Contribute high-quality code to the platform’s codebase and performance-sensitive workloads.
  • Lead major technical initiatives and help reduce technical debt.
  • Ensure the platform meets reliability and scalability SLAs.
  • Champion engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams and R&D management to define the technical roadmap.
  • Review architecture and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of commercial experience using Go as the main programming language.
  • 8 to 15 years of backend engineering experience.
  • 3+ years architecting high-load systems or data pipelines in a production environment.
  • Deep expertise in distributed systems using modern languages such as Java, Rust, or Python.
  • Strong hands-on experience with relational and analytical databases, especially Postgres; ClickHouse is preferred.
  • Proven experience with microservices, containers, and modern DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated ability to combine hands-on coding with architectural leadership.
  • Strong debugging, benchmarking, and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience with modern data engineering technologies such as Spark, Trino, Iceberg, Parquet, ClickHouse, or DBT is a plus.
  • DBA background in relational, OLAP, or columnar databases is a plus.
  • Expertise in telemetry and time series is a plus.
  • Cloud expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
