Description

  • Lead a global revenue accounting team through monthly and quarterly close cycles.
  • Own the order-to-cash accounting process end-to-end.
  • Establish and maintain revenue recognition policies for subscription and consumption-based models.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
  • Research complex revenue accounting issues and produce technical memos and policy documentation.
  • Partner with Legal, Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, and FP&A on revenue-related decisions and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Support external audits and provide audit-ready documentation as the main contact for revenue matters.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and AI, to scale revenue operations.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls over revenue processes.
  • Assist FP&A with revenue reporting, Revenue-ARR bridge analysis, and related metrics.

Requirements

  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification required.
  • Big Four or mid-tier public accounting background strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years focused on revenue accounting.
  • Deep expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition across complex subscription and consumption-based arrangements.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite ARM or an equivalent enterprise revenue system.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience managing external audits as the primary contact for revenue matters.
  • Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting preferred.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in PE-backed company environments and sponsor reporting rhythms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with close management platforms such as FloQast or BlackLine is preferred.
  • Prior involvement in systems implementations, ERP upgrades, or integrations from M&A or technology roadmap decisions is preferred.
