Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s cloud management platform, support, services, and customer needs.
  • Own communication with vendor teams for assigned customers and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Manage customer support escalations through to resolution and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders while balancing customer, vendor, and company interests.
  • Identify new workload opportunities within customers’ cloud environments and SaaS solutions.
  • Maintain a regular engagement cadence across the full customer portfolio, including strategic and fast-growing accounts.
  • Gather customer feedback and share it with product and engineering teams to help prioritize deliverables.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, tracking project timelines, cloud spend, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key cloud providers to support customer engagements.
  • Work with cloud vendor sales representatives on mutual customers and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management supporting the EMEA market.
  • 3+ years of experience at a technology company such as SaaS, SI, or a cloud vendor.
  • Experience supporting customers in the AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure ecosystem, or another cloud vendor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Additional language skills such as Italian or French are preferred.
  • Strong technical skills to engage productively with technical teams and build influential relationships.
  • Strong operational and administrative skills with an analytical, detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to zoom between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.
  • Desire to grow within the organization and continuously broaden skill sets.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader are a plus.
