Description

  • Embed with customer teams to provide strategic guidance and act as a trusted advisor throughout cloud adoption projects.
  • Lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration and modernization engagements to remove obstacles, reduce risk, and accelerate timelines.
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code and automation for cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Modernize applications using containerization and serverless platforms and implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage cloud networking and hybrid integration tasks and support data analytics initiatives.
  • Migrate applications and workloads from traditional data center environments to public cloud.
  • Collaborate with product and customer teams to make technology decisions and select appropriate tools and processes.
  • Communicate progress and outcomes to clients, participate in client-facing video meetings, and own customer success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with a major public cloud platform; experience with Google Cloud preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools and practices.
  • Strong technical experience in at least one of the following: Linux system administration, networking (data center and cloud), or MySQL/other database administration.
  • Experience with traditional data center technologies (VMware, physical servers, storage arrays, networks/firewalls).
  • Experience migrating applications from data center environments to public cloud (preferred).
  • Ability to write scripts and automation in at least one programming or scripting language.
  • Comfortable being on video in meetings internally and with clients.
  • Conversational proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with tools and practices commonly used at Zencore (for example: Google Cloud, HashiCorp portfolio, Kubernetes, containerization, serverless, CI/CD, cloud networking, and data analytics) is preferred.
