Description

  • Serve as an escalation point for technicians and resolve high-priority incidents using ITIL best practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents affecting customer infrastructure in Azure.
  • Install, configure, and administer customer systems and Atmosera-managed components in Azure.
  • Manage service requests and changes according to change management procedures.
  • Configure and maintain network platforms, firewalls, VPNs, policy-based routing, and load balancing.
  • Manage and administer Windows and Linux servers.
  • Configure monitoring and alerting for physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Administer hypervisors such as Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Develop, maintain, and train others on SOPs, best practices, runbooks, and automation documentation.
  • Implement infrastructure automation and orchestration using PowerShell, Bicep, and CI/CD practices.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates for repeatable deployments.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends, to meet SLAs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Azure Cloud support or support administration.
  • AZ-104 certification is highly preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not already held.
  • Ability to obtain and pass US Public Trust clearance/background check within 90 days if not currently possessed.
  • Experience with automation using PowerShell, Bicep, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience managing network platforms and firewalls, including VPNs, policy management, load balancing, and policy-based routing.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure and administer Azure Site Recovery and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis, knowledge development, and process creation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse multi-client environment.
  • Preferred experience with Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Preferred experience working within compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, IRS 1075, NIST-800, CSI Benchmarks, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, SOC 1, and SOC 2.
