Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent morning-of requests and educator absence backfills, managing coverage from initial notification to confirmed placement.
  • Build trusted relationships with school partners to identify new opportunities and secure additional days and absences for Zen to fill.
  • Engage with educators to support their onboarding into first long-term or daily subbing roles, gather feedback, and help resolve issues to improve retention and placement success.
  • Provide daily coaching and support to active educators, including guidance on using product features to reduce manual work and scale their processes.
  • Collaborate with internal Zen teams to share insights, streamline communication, and improve service delivery.
  • Lead weekly or bi-weekly territory syncs using data reporting and local market knowledge to guide strategy and operational improvements.
  • Balance supply and demand by anticipating school needs and maintaining an optimal number of active educators to support high fill rates.
  • Support Account Managers by sharing daily updates on follow-up items and completed work to ensure seamless handoffs and partnership continuity.
  • Assist with the management and growth of US school partnerships, including support for paraprofessional and teacher roles and upselling Zen products and services.
  • Report on trends and feedback from schools and work with the Product team to inform improvements.

Requirements

  • Remote work location in Nova Scotia.
  • Salary range of $51,000-$58,000 a year, with $58,000 OTE.
  • Experience in sales, partnerships, account management, recruitment, or education is a plus.
  • Coachable and eager to learn, with openness to feedback.
  • Resilient self-starter who can be resourceful and think entrepreneurially.
  • Strong team orientation with a positive, collaborative approach.
  • Empathetic, customer-service mindset with genuine care for others' needs.
  • Passion for the education sector and mission-driven social impact work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with urgency and attention to detail.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn territory reporting, data-driven planning, and product-led educator support.
