Description

  • Own single-threaded leadership for the Client Intelligence & Data domain and drive its roadmap end to end.
  • Translate business goals into versioned APIs and event-driven architectures for analytics and reporting.
  • Define the product strategy for moving client onboarding and reporting toward low-code and AI-driven experiences.
  • Protect production stability and data accuracy for KPI computation and report generation.
  • Lead a cross-functional pod of engineers and partner with Staff Engineers and the CTO Office.
  • Champion a You Build It, You Run It culture across owned production services and analytics pipelines.
  • Design for multi-tenancy, elastic scaling, and automated observability in platform components.
  • Prioritize ambiguous requests using the RICE framework and turn them into an executable roadmap.
  • Help unblock engineering teams and manage dependencies across multiple domains.
  • Lead architectural discussions for cloud-native analytics and reporting systems.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience is required for this remote role in Europe.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven platforms.
  • Experience with modern software engineering practices, including cloud-native/serverless systems, Kotlin or Go, and gRPC or REST.
  • Proven experience building platform capabilities or complex distributed systems, ideally in analytics pipelines, BI tooling, or merchant-facing dashboards.
  • Track record of driving delivery velocity, unblocking engineering teams, and managing dependencies across 11 domains.
  • Ability to optimize DORA metrics.
  • Ability to articulate technical trade-offs to executive stakeholders and translate growth goals into technical requirements.
  • Preference for clean, modular architecture over monolithic shortcuts.
  • Working knowledge of data pipelines, KPI/metrics design, dashboarding tools, and merchant or operator reporting needs is preferred.
