Description

  • Serve as the Single Threaded Leader for the client experience layer across developer platform, identity and access, and checkout experiences.
  • Define product strategy and translate business goals into versioned APIs, event-driven architectures, and platform capabilities.
  • Own the roadmap, architecture, and operational health of the client experience domains.
  • Optimize the end-to-end client journey, including onboarding, integration, permissions, and checkout flows.
  • Drive agentic and self-serve onboarding initiatives, including API sandboxes and AI-assisted integration flows.
  • Lead cross-functional pods and partner with Staff Engineers and the CTO Office to remove silos.
  • Champion a You Build It, You Run It culture across public APIs and checkout paths.
  • Enforce strong quality standards and automated assurance to protect platform stability.
  • Prioritize ambiguous cross-domain requests using the RICE framework and turn them into an executable roadmap.
  • Track delivery velocity and manage dependencies across multiple domains.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in product management or a similar technical leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, event-driven platforms, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience with cloud-native/serverless systems, Kotlin or Go, and gRPC/REST.
  • Proven experience building platform capabilities or complex distributed systems across multiple interdependent domains.
  • Experience with developer-facing APIs and SDKs, identity and access management, or checkout/commerce experiences is preferred.
  • Track record of driving delivery velocity, unblocking engineering teams, and managing dependencies across large product surfaces.
  • Ability to optimize DORA metrics.
  • Ability to articulate technical trade-offs to executive stakeholders and translate growth goals into technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of API gateway design and versioning, SSO/permissions models, merchant reporting/analytics, and checkout/SDK patterns is preferred.
  • Remote work from Europe and full-time availability.
